Authentic & Ethical Craftsmanship

When you buy a rug from Nour Rugs, you're purchasing directly from the artisans who create them. Our Berber rugs are not stored in warehouses; they remain with the talented female weavers of the mountains until they find their new home. Every piece is a labor of love, woven with traditional techniques passed down through generations.

You can see the process here

It is a unique piece made by our Berber weavers. They made this rug with 4 hands on a traditional loom. Originally, Berber rugs were used as mattresses in Berber tents. When weavers made rugs, they only added fringes on one side. This way, the most visible side of the fringed rug was placed near the entrance to the tent..✨
